The Need
Parkinson's disease affects nearly one million people in the US who need a cure and treatments to ensure a better quality of life. Learn more about Parkinson's disease and the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Your contribution will help us continue to fund essential research to find the cause(s) of and a cure for Parkinson's disease. With your generous gift, we can also bring quality services and educational materials to people who live with Parkinson's disease.
Fiscal Responsibility
PDF understands how important it is that your donation is used in the most effective way.
In 2007, 58 percent of our budget was dedicated to research, 15 percent was used to provide educational materials, information and services to the Parkinson's community, and 5 percent was dedicated to advocacy. That means that only 22 percent of our total budget is used for management and fundraising.
