Sharing Stories of Living Well

How do you 'live well' with PD?  We all read enough about the challenges that come with Parkinson's.  What about the unexpected places we find comfort, joy or inspiration?

For some it's the strength training of pilates.  For others it's the feel of a paint brush, the challenge of learning the waltz with a spouse, or the fulfillment that comes by supporting others in the Parkinson's community.

Whether it's an academic, artistic or athletic endeavor, there is a common thread among stories we read in the paper or hear from friends about 'living well.'  It relates to the passion one feels for their activity and the degree to which it is therapeutic to their symptoms and/or outlook.

Here we give space to share these stories.  Read more:

  • Articles:
Stories from news sources worldwide, that tell stories of living well
  • In Your Own Words:
Personal stories, as told to PDF by people like you.  These inspiring testimonials offer unique insight on ways to live with PD.
